Our Purpose

The purpose of the Light of the World Ministry is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister to our community through love and compassion. We want to do this by increasing community services and outreach as much as possible. We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand in order to create a larger impact and make a bigger difference in our community. By building our congregation and relationships in the community we will be able to provide needed support in Durham NC.

Our mission is to train disciples of Christ to go into the surrounding areas to minister to the community around us. We will walk in harmony with each other and minister to each other so we can grow spiritually as a part of Christ's body. We will run the race and endure the work until the end. We will love and connect to each other and the world around us. This is a church for the people and run by God, following Christ means love, righteoussness and service.
